Is it normal to feel slighted if this is my 1st mother’s day and my husband told me that he still has nothing?
I feel guilty even asking this. But yesterday my husband said he still had nothing for tomorrow (my 1st mothers’ day). I’m not saying that I really need aything special, just something from the heart that shows me that my first mother’s day means something. I know he has been busy with our new baby- but couln’dt he go out on 1 of his 2 days off. or go to work early to swing by the store to get something? How do I tell him how I feel without sounded materialsitic?

yes it is.. because he should acknowledge the fact that you are the mother of his child… but then, maybe he has a surprise for you.
